Nerds on Site is an international IT service company built on an independent contractor model. Its business is conducted by independent licensees known as EnterpreNerds (Nerds). In exchange for startup and annual license fees, plus a percentage of revenues, Nerds on Site provides Nerds with a web-based back-office system for billing, purchasing, and communication between Nerds, a 24-hour call center, access to the brand, collaboration and subcontracting opportunities with other Nerds, and web-based technology courses through their "University of Nerdology." Clients include small to medium enterprises and residential customers, and are typically served "on site" at the home or office. Services offered by the company include personal computer and network installation and support, web design, and security consulting. Founded in 1995 by John Harbarenko and David Redekop and headquartered in Canada, Nerds On Site now operates in Australia, Bolivia, Canada, Germany, India, Mexico, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the USA.
